David R. Hamilton was fascinated with the placebo effect. While all this pharmaceutical colleagues were dismissing the 10-20% of people getting better from taking sugar pills, he was like why aren't we studying what's going on here!?


He's totally got a point and I never thought about it that way. Why don't we place more emphasis on the healing we can get just with the power of our mind and intentions? Using scientific methods and studying the research behind the placebo effect, this podcast helped shift my perspective on the power of the mind. Also, he has the cutest Scottish accent (bonus!)
