when is enough, enough?

This quote really hit home for us.

It got us talking about how many times we've pushed ourselves over the edge... physically, mentally, emotionally... driven by our own expectations, our egos, our desire to please other people. It's uncomfortable to pause and assess our situation with clarity because, quite honestly, we know we're not going to like what we see and we'd rather just push through and deal with the consequences later.

Of course, money is not always the sole motivator. Any parent knows how much we sacrifice for our children. Or maybe you're a caregiver to a spouse, parent or family member. Not to mention what we do for our friends, neighbors, pets, charitable organization... the list can go on and on.

What we discovered in our own journeys is the way we were living was not sustainable... physically, mentally, or emotionally.

We have pushed ourselves to achieve our goals. We have pushed through the discomfort because it was slowing us down. We only checked in with our bodies when it was convenient or when we couldn't ignore it any longer. And then we expected a quick fix so we could move on to the next achievement.

Does this sound familiar?

If so, you are not alone.

If you're stuck in a world where you desire change in your life but you're confused on how to get it, then you are in the right place. If you're ready to invest in yourself to feel more balance and less anxious, then you're in the right place. If you are tired of working your ass off, but still feeling like you lack purpose or direction, then you're in the right place.

The ming + ming platform and it's community is here to support each other as we break the self-depleting habits that drain our energy and start to build the self-supporting habits that fill our lives with gratitude and positivity. This is the way we can start to enjoy the life we work so hard to create.

With love,
